Checking Lots on a Wholesale Delivery
BacWaterPep trade note · revised
| Lot match | Carton label = packing list = COA |
|---|---|
| Benzyl alcohol | Measured % v/v inside 0.8–1.0% (our specification: 0.9% ± 0.1%) |
| pH | Measured value inside 5.0–7.0 |
| Sterility and endotoxins | Results reported with their methods |
| Expiry | At least the minimum shelf life stated in your quote |
Step 1 — Lot by lot
A COA speaks for one lot only. Every lot number on a carton should appear on the packing list and have its certificate; a lot without one is a question for the sales desk before the stock reaches the shelf.
Step 2 — Read the numbers
Quantitative tests — benzyl alcohol, pH, endotoxins, fill volume, particulate matter — should show the measured value beside the limit, not only 'conforms'.
Step 3 — Inspect the goods
- Cartons intact, kits complete, the count matching the packing list.
- Vials clear and colourless, without particles.
- Expiry dates matching the COA and your agreed minimum shelf life.
Step 4 — Claims
Raise a claim soon after delivery, with photos of the cartons, kits and vials. Transit damage, short shipments and wrong items are reshipped; a quality nonconformance is refunded in full, as agreed with our sales team.
