Start with one default diluent
Customers who reconstitute more than once need a vial they can re-enter: that is bacteriostatic water, and it is the line a reseller should never run out of. Opened multi-dose vials are usually discarded 28 days after the first puncture (CDC), and that window decides which sizes sell.
Add the two specialist lines
- Sterile water, for customers whose method or compound documentation rules out benzyl alcohol, or who empty a vial in one go.
- 0.6% acetic acid water, for compounds documented as poorly soluble at neutral pH.
- Label both as unpreserved and single use on your listings — it prevents the most common mix-up.
Match sizes to how customers use them
- 3 mL — one vial of water travels with one peptide vial, nothing left over.
- 5 mL — two or three reconstitutions.
- 10 mL — regular weekly use, finished well inside 28 days.
- 30 mL — heavy, steady users only; whatever is left on day 28 is discarded.
One lot per SKU where you can
A single lot across a SKU means one COA answers every customer question about it. Ask for one lot when you order; the quote states whether one lot covers your quantity.
